What a Sitemap is
A sitemap is a page on your website that provides an easy to navigate series of links for users and search engines. Think of it as you would an index at the back of a textbook. Where the index would tell you which page in the textbook to go to, your sitemap provides a clickable link to that page.
The Sitemap on Your Website
All Redman websites are equipped with an automatically generated sitemap. This includes stock pages we provide as well as any custom pages you add to your site. You can view your sitemap by selecting the “Sitemap” link in the footer area of your website.
Selecting this link will bring you to your sitemap.
You can see the links to the pages mentioned as well as a brief description of the page.
IDX Sitemap Add-On
Once you are ready to increase your SEO, we can provide you with an IDX sitemap for your website. This sitemap provides an index of all the MLS listings shown on your website with links to the listing description page. This IDX Sitemap makes it really easy for search engines to crawl your site and see all the listings available.
This sitemap provides links to the listings pages inside and outside of your website, which provides you with increased SEO power!
