Changing Your Websites Domain

Before you change your website domain please keep in mind:

• All of the SEO ranking you have gained with your current domain will be lost
• It will take a minimum of 6 months to start building that rank again
• Unless you are doing a massive rebranding campaign, Redman does not recommend changing your domain name associated with your website
• If you do decide to move forward with the update, we recommend having your website connected to an Analytics tool and a Webmasters tool to mitigate the SEO losses before making this change.
